Training of Trainers on digital technologies in innovative classrooms
The Turkish Ministry of National Education organised the 1st International Education Congress on June 3-4, 2025, in Ankara. The event was jointly hosted by the Directorate General of Secondary Education and the Directorate General for Innovation and Educational Technologies, focusing on the Türkiye Century Education (Maarif) Model.
The congress brought together educators and academics to discuss key themes such as global education trends, digital transformation, and innovative learning environments.
A major highlight on the second day was the panel titled “Innovative Classroom Projects in Türkiye,” where experts shared insights on national policies, design strategies, and classroom applications.
Moderated by Dr. Emrah Pektaş, the panel featured speakers Dr. Özkan Yıldız, Canan Han, and Havva Ünlü from the Ministry. Dr. Yıldız presented strategic initiatives, Canan Han addressed the influence of space design and infrastructure on learning, and Havva Ünlü provided practical examples from current innovative classroom practices.
The panel attracted significant interest and offered a valuable platform to explore the future of innovative learning environments in Türkiye
