Training of Trainers on digital technologies in innovative classrooms | June, 2025
As part of the Innovative Classrooms Project carried out by the Directorate General of Innovation and Educational Technologies of the Ministry of National Education, the Training of Trainers on Digital Technologies in Innovative Classrooms was successfully held in Mersin between May 26–30, 2025.
FCL Türkiye: local trainings and international collaboration activities continue across provinces | June, 2025
Following the ToTs, starting from November 2024, the teacher trainings started in 81 provinces across Türkiye. The teachers got local face-to-face and online training from nearly 300 trainers across the country on the Innovative Classroom Model, Active Learning and Digital Technology use in these classrooms. With the online and f2f courses held in the whole country, approximately 51.000 teachers got training.
Workshop on Developing Active Learning in Innovative Classrooms Held in Ankara | March, 2025
The General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies organised the "Workshop on Developing Active Learning Activities in Innovative Classrooms" in Ankara from February 3 to 7, 2025. The workshop brought together 53 teachers from various disciplines and the Future Classroom Lab team from the Directorate.
1st International Education Congress Held in Ankara | June, 2025
The Turkish Ministry of National Education organized the 1st International Education Congress on June 3-4, 2025, in Ankara. The event was jointly hosted by the Directorate General of Secondary Education and the Directorate General for Innovation and Educational Technologies, focusing on the Türkiye Century Education (Maarif) Model.

This event also marked the 10th anniversary of the FCL Ambassadors network.

New Learning Labs and Activities of Local ambassadors | June, 2024
Five Turkish schools have been officially acknowledged as members of the Network of Innovative Learning Labs and Spaces. Apart from teacher trainings, the FCL classroom also hosted the Erasmus+ projects and scenario-based trainings conducted with the participation of teachers and students from different European countries.
