Global Summit on Educational Technology Highlights Key Trends
"The Educational Technology Research and Development and Quality Summit 2024” that took place in Istanbul, highlighted the latest advancements in educational technology and addressed global needs over three days. The event featured expert presentations, panels, workshops, and exhibitions from 24 companies.
The summit was attended by the President and the Minister of National Education and aimed to guide future research and establish itself as a leading educational technology forum.
In line with the summit's focus on innovation and digital integration, our Directorate General is creating advanced learning environments with flexible furniture and digital tools. These will be implemented in 500 middle and high schools nationwide, fostering interdisciplinary learning and aligning with the summit’s vision.
During the event, a demonstration of these innovative classrooms was showcased, attracting significant interest from participants. In the demo lesson conducted in accordance with the Innovative Classroom model, active participation of the students was ensured, and a lesson was delivered.
During this process, a pre-determined scenario was implemented with the aim of providing students with an interactive learning experience. As a result, the first demo was successfully completed, reflecting the strong engagement and enthusiasm for this new approach to education.
