When we rolled the first tables into the Future Classroom Lab at University College Copenhagen (KP) eight years ago, the wheels were more than a practical choice; they signalled that nothing here should ever stand still. The lab has grown into a signature track on our teacher-education programme—Future Classroom Teacher—where technology comprehension is cultivated through continuous cycles of exploration, experiment and reflection.

As part of the publicly funded CFU (Center for Learning Resources), Future Classroom Lab Denmark is dedicated to fostering innovative practices in Danish education. Central to this mission is the nationwide "Praktikernetværket for Teknologiforstandelse" (Practitioner Network for Technological Understanding), which currently empowers over 2,500 educators across Denmark to explore and integrate technology as a core educational competency.
CFUMaker.dk: A Comprehensive Platform for Makerspaces and Technology Understanding in Danish Schools | October, 2024
CFUMaker.dk is a new national platform aimed at enhancing makerspaces and technology-driven learning in Danish schools. It offers curated resources, maps out makerspaces across Denmark, and promotes cross-school collaboration. The platform helps educators integrate hands-on, tech-based learning into classrooms, fostering innovation and preparing students for the future.
Agile EDU | June, 2024
The Agile Edu project is a 3-year EU-funded initiative exploring ethical and inclusive ways to use data and evaluate learning in schools. Led by European Schoolnet and supported by European education ministries, the project involves Sweden, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Finland, and Denmark.
