Teacher Network for Technological Understanding

As part of the publicly funded CFU (Center for Learning Resources), Future Classroom Lab Denmark is dedicated to fostering innovative practices in Danish education. Central to this mission is the nationwide "Praktikernetværket for Teknologiforstandelse" (Practitioner Network for Technological Understanding), which currently empowers over 2,500 educators across Denmark to explore and integrate technology as a core educational competency. This network creates opportunities for collaboration and innovation, enabling teachers to share experiences, develop skills, and gain fresh insights into teaching technological understanding.

In 2024, the network organized six major events and 100 thematic local workshops across Denmark. These workshops focused on topics such as AI, maker education, creativity, and coding, equipping teachers with practical tools to transform their classrooms. The network continues to develop diverse perspectives on technology literacy in practice.

Set to continue for at least three more years, the network aims to enhance educators' skills and foster a culture of innovation in Danish schools. Its goal is to embed technological understanding as a fundamental aspect of education, ensuring schools are well-prepared for a technology-driven future.

This initiative is supported by the Willum Foundation.
