Bootcamps in Flanders | March, 2025
Since 2023, ICT bootcamps have become a cornerstone in Flanders' education system. Through these bootcamps, the Kenniscentrum Digisprong aims to enhance the ICT skills of school teams via government initiatives. This enables school teams to participate a tailored ICT professionalisation programme free of charge, always guided by the DigCompEdu framework.
Responsible AI in Flemish education | December, 2024
The Knowledge Centre Digisprong in Flanders has written a vision paper in collaboration with relevant stakeholders such students, teachers and unions, that provides a starting point for this discussion. In this document, the Knowledge Centre defines what is meant by responsible AI in education and outlines seven fundamental requirements that responsible AI must meet. These requirements are then developed into practical guidelines for implementation in the educational sector.

How to create innovative learning spaces? | October, 2024
On October 3rd, we hosted an Open Day at the Future Classroom Lab (FCL) in Brussels, designed to inspire and guide Flemish school directors, policy makers, and ICT coordinators. The event successfully provided an immersive experience of FCL concepts, helping participants envision and begin creating innovative learning spaces within their schools.
