AI in Education Conference held in December
A national conference on artificial intelligence in education, held in Belgrade in December 2025, brought together educators and stakeholders from secondary and adult education to explore the growing role of AI in teaching and learning. Organized by the National VET Team in cooperation with Foundation Tempus and the EPALE national support team, the event included a perspective from both policy-makers and educators.
Sessions showcased collaboration between education and industry, as well as concrete classroom applications, including AI-supported differentiation, interdisciplinary teaching, and the development of student agency through creative use of digital tools. A panel discussion concluded that while AI integration in education is increasingly unavoidable, it must be guided by ethical considerations and aligned with meaningful learning outcomes.
Strong interest from across the education sector underscored the growing relevance of AI for education systems.
