Future Classroom Lab at Didacta Italia 2025

In the Indire stand at Didacta Italia, an important meeting was held on March 12, 2025, with Italian schools participating in the Innovative Learning Lab Network of European Schoolnet. The meeting was coordinated by the FCL Lead Ambassador for Italy, Massimo Belardinelli, and the Indire research group coordinator, Raffaella Carro.

Initially, both the Future Learning Labs project funded by Indire and FCL European Schoolnet Brussels were presented, highlighting the integration between the two initiatives and the opportunities they offer for Italian schools.

The "multilayer" characteristic of the network's hub schools clearly emerged, as each of them serves as a hub for multiple national or international school innovation networks.

The meeting continued with presentations of innovative experiences of learning environments integrated with technologies by five excellent schools (three from the first cycle of education - ages 3-14, and two from the second cycle - ages 14-19):

● The "S. Mattarella" Comprehensive Institute of Modena

● The "S. Filippo" Didactic Direction of Città di Castello

● The "Fermi Giorgi" Scientific, Technical and Professional Hub of Lucca

● The "L. Fontana" Comprehensive Institute of Rome

● The "G. Meli" International Classical High School of Palermo

The schools presented interesting solutions, highlighting the convergences with the Indire 1+4 models and FCL European Schoolnet, the specificities related to their context and the opportunities for spreading innovation to other schools in their territory.

The meeting concluded by outlining the development directions of the Italian network linked to the Future Classroom Lab of European Schoolnet.
