Digital Citizenship Education

On the 20th of March, some of the members from the Students’ Council at St Ignatius College, Ħandaq Middle school, were given the opportunity to participate in various debates about Digital Citizenship education. The students had the opportunity to express their opinions of what makes a good digital citizen.

The activity began with Mentimeter, where students wrote what they understand by the term of Digital Citizenship. Afterwards, they were invited to participate in a series of debates related to the topic Digital Citizenship education.

By combining the traditional debate formats with modern technology, this activity successfully created an environment where students could learn, interact, and grow. This activity not only enhanced their critical thinking and public speaking skills but also learn how to navigate the digital world responsibly and safely.
