Educators from 81 Provinces Attend Active Learning Training in Mersin
As part of the Innovative Classrooms Project carried out by the Ministry of National Education's General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies, the “Train-the-Trainer Program on Active Learning in Innovative Learning Spaces” was held in Mersin between 4–8 May 2026.
The five-day program brought together Innovative Classroom Provincial Coordinators and trainer candidates from all 81 provinces of Türkiye. Participants explored innovative learning environments, active learning methodologies, technology integration, project development, and the effective use of digital tools in education.
Through hands-on workshops and collaborative activities, educators enhanced their skills in designing and implementing active learning experiences in Future Classroom Labs and other innovative learning spaces.
The training aimed to support the widespread use of technology-enhanced learning environments, strengthen student-centered teaching practices, and improve educators’ digital competencies while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants nationwide.
