A central idea running through the sessions is that games are not merely tools, but catalysts for experiential learning and social connection. From analogue board games to digital worlds, participants will explore how game design principles can foster autonomy, curiosity, and inclusive participation.

Within IFEN’s F.use – Future Space for Education, game-based learning is one of the main focus areas shaping innovative learning environments. The Educator’s Day therefore plays an important role in this broader reflection, linking research, training, and practice while encouraging educators to rethink how learning can be designed around play, creativity, and discovery.

By connecting professionals from both sectors, Game On Educator’s Day continues to demonstrate that play is more than entertainment, it is a powerful bridge between learners, educators, and contexts, and a vital ingredient for the future of education.
