Green Screen in Education
We have developed and collected learning resources for Norwegian teachers who want to explore digital tools and innovative teaching methods. This resource introduces the use of green screen technology in the classroom.
Green screen technology allows students to place themselves in different environments and create engaging, curriculum-based presentations. They can produce weather forecasts, news reports, historical role-plays, documentaries, explanatory videos, or presentations from locations they would otherwise never be able to visit. In this way, students can work with subject content in a more active, creative, and meaningful manner.
In this short video, Norwegian teachers are introduced to the basics of using a green screen on an iPad. The video demonstrates how to set up a project, add background images or videos, record students, and save the final production. The resource is suitable for both beginners and teachers looking for new ideas for integrating digital technology into their teaching.
