Inauguration of Innovation Center of Pella
On Friday, March 27, the inauguration of the Innovation Center of Pella (Macedonia) took place. The scientific coordinator of the 13 Innovation Centers and Vice President of CTI Diofantus, as well as an ambassador of the Future Classroom Labs (FCL), Professor Zacharoula Smyrnaiou, presented the program and objectives of the project to the invited guests, including the Minister of Education, members of parliament, and students.
Following the ceremony, students and teachers had the opportunity to explore the Center’s capabilities firsthand through demonstrations conducted by the FCL ambassadors, Professor Smyrnaiou and Mr. Asimakopoulos. These demonstrations included activities in educational robotics, brain–computer interface (BCI) technologies, virtual reality applications, and digital design and fabrication.
Among other exhibits, an environmental monitoring station was presented, consisting of sensors for measuring air pollution and water quality, based on the Nezha–micro:bit educational robotics kit.
