The Innovative Classrooms Initiative aims to enhance the quality of learning environments, promote student-centered and active learning, and support the development of 21st-century skills, particularly digital competencies.

The study was carried out in 37 schools across 12 provinces representing 12 statistical regions of Türkiye. Surveys were administered to lower secondary (Grades 5–6) and upper secondary (Grades 9–10) students, teachers, and school administrators. A total of 3,782 students, 787 teachers, and 100 school administrators participated in the research.

The research focused on students’ digital and 4C skills, teachers’ attitude and perceptions of self-efficacy towards using innovative classrooms, and administrators’ perceptions of innovative classroom practices.

The findings will contribute to identifying good practices, assessing the effectiveness of Innovative Classrooms, and supporting the further development of innovative learning environments across the country.
