Report on Innovative Classrooms Local Trainings Published
The Directorate General for Innovation and Educational Technologies (YEĞİTEK) has released the results report of the local Active Learning in Innovative Learning Spaces trainings carried out within the Innovative Classroom Project. A total of 526 innovative classrooms have been established across all 81 provinces to support the digital transformation of the Turkish education system, adapt teaching methods to contemporary needs, and strengthen skills-based learning.
As part of the capacity-building process, nearly 500 trainers delivered local trainings during the 2024–2025 academic year, with the participation of more than 12,000 teachers. Prepared under the slogan “Classrooms Are Changing, Education Is Transforming,” the report details the distribution of these trainings by province, subject branch, and school type. Capacity-building efforts will continue with additional local trainings on Digital Technologies in Innovative Classrooms, as well as nationwide access—via the ÖBA platform—to courses on active learning in innovative classrooms, 3D design, and robotics coding with MEB-KIT.
